This watch was produced as part of Seiko celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Seiko producing its first mechanical Automatic watch in 1956.
The watch honours and pays homage to a Model made in 1913.
The black Dial uses the centuries old " Urushi " technique, essentially a hand painted dial, out sourced by Seiko, to a Craftsman, Mr. Issu Tamura in the city of Kanazawa.
The Seiko Presage Automatic Chronograph limited edition watch come a polished steel case that are 42mm wide and 15mm thick. The case is water-resistant to 100 meters and is topped with a domed sapphire crystal. You can see the movement through an exhibition caseback window.
