We have discovered it very much appears that you get what you pay for!
ALL straps benefit from not being exposed to solvents ( Diesel & petrol being the worst offenders)
It does stand to reason that a Seiko Genuine strap will outlast most aftermarket ones. When Seiko sell you a brand new watch, they & you, don't want to think about replacing the strap for at least a couple of years, even if you wear the watch daily.
Now, I can't talk for professional divers, who are subjecting their Seiko Divers to extreme environments daily. But, generally speaking. we find a $99 Seiko Genuine Strap in silicone in a 20MM, Part number R03E011J0, will last about 3 times as long as a generic aftermarket strap that costs $35.
I don't know what it is in the manufacture that the aftermarkets cannot replicate, but the genuine Seiko strap remains comfortable & flexible & is not as prone to "tearing"
The genuine Seiko strap has a Stainless Steel buckle & keeper. The keeper, when made of silicone, is very often the first point of failure in a strap.
So, for our customers we keep the 20mm Seiko Strap, Part Number R03E011J0 in stock. This strap is supplied on Seiko model SPB147 & will fit just about any watch that has a 20mm lug width.
We also stock the Seiko 22mm Strap, Part R043014J0. This one is supplied originally on Seiko Model SNJ025 & will fit just about any watch that has a 22mm lug width.

These models redefine the aesthetics of the Black Series with their alluring blacked-out designs adorned with vivid green luminous accents, inspired by the view through night vision scopes.
Seiko Prospex SRPK43: The King Turtle Refined
The SRPK43 stands out as an epitome of Seiko's craftsmanship, taking the iconic "King Turtle" as its foundation and elevating it to new heights within the Black Series. The watch boasts a 45mm black-coated stainless steel case, a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, and a ceramic bezel insert with aggressive grooves. The inclusion of the Calibre 4R36 automatic movement ensures precision with a frequency of 21,600vph (3 Hz) and a power reserve of approximately 41 hours.
The matte black dial and chapter ring maximize legibility, accentuated by Seiko's Green Lumibrite Pro on hands and hour markers. The luminescent material emits a vivid green glow in the dark, creating a night vision-themed allure. The SRPK43 combines style and functionality, with a robust 200 meters water resistance and a black-coated stainless steel bracelet that complements its overall design. Priced at $1160AUD, this timepiece embodies the essence of Seiko's Black Series.
Seiko Prospex SSC923: Solar-Powered Precision
Adding a chronographic element to the Black Series, the SSC923 is a captivating expression of Seiko's Solar Speedtimer. Featuring a 41.4mm black-coated stainless steel case, this timepiece is powered by Seiko's Caliber V192 solar quartz movement. The movement offers precision with an accuracy rating of -/+15 seconds per month and an impressive six-month power reserve without light exposure.
The black ceramic insert on the tachymeter bezel, combined with the sapphire crystal and black nylon strap, creates a sleek and tactical appearance. The matte black dial, adorned with Green Lumibrite Pro on hands and hour markers, perfectly complements the night vision theme. With a 100 meters water resistance and a price tag of $1100AUD, the SSC923 is a striking addition to Seiko's Black Series lineup.
Evolution of the Black Series
Seiko's Black Series has evolved over the years, with the SRPK43 and SSC923 continuing the tradition of bold design and functionality. Unlike previous models with orange accents, these 2024 releases showcase bright green luminescence, creating a unique night vision-inspired colourway. The watches pay homage to Seiko's core models – the "Turtle" diver and Solar Speedtimer – with a blacked-out aesthetic that exudes sophistication.
Lack of Limited Edition Appeal
While previous Black Series models embraced limited editions, the SRPK43 and SSC923 are introduced as standard collection offerings. This move ensures wider accessibility without limiting production, making these remarkable timepieces available to enthusiasts worldwide.
In conclusion, Seiko's Prospex Black Series continues to captivate watch enthusiasts with the SRPK43 and SSC923, combining the allure of blacked-out designs with the practicality of premium movements. As these watches hit the global market in February 2024, they promise to redefine wristwear aesthetics for those who appreciate a perfect blend of style and substance. ]]>With updates to both the hardware & software, the question we are asked is, "is the 7 PRO worth the extra money? Spoiler alert ! IT 100% IS WORTH IT! Read on to find out why.
Put simply, the Fenix 7 PRO ( it comes in 3 sizes) is the best value GPS watch money can buy. The PRO performs wonderfully in every day use & caters to the serious athlete looking for all day health tracking and high accuracy.
All 7 PRO models now have a built in flashlight ( handy for night running) an upgraded Heart Rate Sensor ( more accurate with the first appearance of the all new Garmin Elevate 5 PPG sensor) and multi band GPS tracking.
So the 7 PRO fills an interesting gap between the Garmin Fenix 7 and the Fenix 8 ( release date unknown) & therefore features some good upgrades, but perhaps Garmin are holding some back for the 8?
The Garmin Fenix 7 Pro provides the best user experience and customization across any GPS watch on the market. Even as the market continues to grow and competition increases, Garmin has continued to set the bar. This update to the Fenix line adds a flashlight, improved heart rate accuracy, solar charging, and loads of new performance metrics. If you can foot the bill, Garmin and the Fenix 7 Pro are the best you can buy.
Garmin has made multi-band GPS a standard feature on the Fenix 7 Pro range, while only the sapphire models in the Fenix 7 range have it, and the transflective memory-in-pixel displays on the Pro watches are meant to be brighter and clearer in low-light conditions. One smaller update is that all Pro watches have 32GB of storage, the same as the sapphire Fenix 7 watches, whereas the non-sapphire Fenix 7 watches had only 16GB.
The flashlight is a clear upgrade, since it’s useful to have it on your watch at times and then completely unobtrusive when you don’t need it. A torch you don't need to hold is very useful in some scenarios, such as searching your tent at night. The watch throws a useful amount of light.
Fenix 7 pro Garmins now get a boost in battery life with the addition of Solar Charging. During an activity you can expect 75 hours of GPS Tracking. Switch to one minute GPS tracking and this will extend to around 190 hours, surely plenty for just about any activity! Solar charging extends the battery life, but you can't rely on it solely.
The touch screen makes it a dream to use & can easily be tuned off.

Certain watches become icons because of the people that wear them, and the case of Bruce Lee was no different. There is still debate going on today as to which exact variant of the 6139-powered Seiko chronograph the star actually wore. To honour Bruce Lee and the choice of Seiko as his wristwear, Seiko is introducing a brand new addition to their 5 Sports line-up, with numerous touches that pay tribute to Lee’s life and work – the Seiko 5 Sports Bruce Lee SRPK39.
Born in San Francisco, Bruce Lee was a film actor, martial artist, director, and teacher whose career spanned continents.
He became a superstar with the smash hit The Big Boss (1971)
but tragically passed away at the young age of 32 when he was filming Enter the Dragon (1973).
Lee’s other films include Marlowe (1969), The Way of the Dragon (1972), and more.
A multifaceted creator and martial arts expert, Lee founded Jeet Kune Do, which translates to “Way of the Intercepting Fist.”
His work continues to attract fans from all over the world.
The dragon, which Lee drew in his lifetime,
is shown on the dial.
And the bezel represents the spirit of Jeet Kune Do with a phrase that translates to “Using no way as way; having no limitation as limitation".
This Limited Edition Bruce Lee Watch comes with two straps. The black leather strap evokes the type of clothing worn in kung fu, with the dragon design on the inside.
A nylon strap in the colour of the yellow tracksuit worn by Bruce Lee will also be included.
The glass case back features the Jeet Kune Do
core symbol, which is based on the yin-yang symbol. The case back is also marked with "Limited Edition" and the serial number.
To commemorate the collaboration, the watch is enclosed in a specially designed box with Lee’s signature.
The SRPK39 is limited to 15000 pieces worldwide. Some would say not really a limited edition, but I still feel demand will outstrip supply, based on the volume of enquiry since Seiko announced the release.
Watches go on sale 1 October 2023

The limited edition SRPK25K consists of graphics derived straight from the original comics, capturing cartoon Snoopy peering over his surfboard, embodying the shy, yet playful side of him that we all know and love. This story swiftly unfolds as you turn to the case back of the watch to catch a glimpse of Snoopy riding a wave. Details such as the Shulz font which was the font created by Charles Shulz himself was used in the original comics and is used in this watch for the numerals on each piece. The watch has animated analogue hands which are deliberately employed to enhance the comical imagery of Snoopy and his whimsical journey. When opening the box a little story of Snoopy's adventures unfolds, starting with him surfing, to then transitioning into Charlie Brown an friend observing Snoopy riding a wave. This watch exhibits a youthful looking grey and white nylon watch strap to represent the light-hearted spirit within us all. Another thoughtful detail which enhances this comical watch is Snoopy's pawprint engraved on the bezel. For your comfort the watch is an automatic and 100 metres water resistant and contains a dive bezel. It is a casual and smart every day wear watch that you can personalise and dress up or down. The case is stainless steel, juxtaposing with the hardlex glass white dial watch face. The case diameter is 38mm which is a perfect size for the watch dial as it is neither too big or too small. Additionally, this watch includes a pull out crown, hand winding capability on the one way rotating bezel and weighs 72 grams. This weight indicates the authenticity and reliability of the watch as it is structured and strong. Efficiently, the battery life comprises of 41 Hours Power Reserve. The watch includes calendar indicators, with the date and day of the week given to direct you to an accurate recount of what the day consists of. Lumibrite on the hands and markers is added as an extra facet on the watch, with high glow intensity to help read the watch even in a dark room. Moreover it is environmentally friendly as the glow in the dark function runs on sunlight. To commemorate this special watch, the back is engraved with the words 'LIMITED EDITION'. All of these features and more are all carefully crafted for your comfort and happiness. This is all included within the amazing price, costing only $595!
In contrast, the SRPK27K portrays Snoopy taking a stroll on his scooter with his best friend Woodstock accompanying him as his trustee pilot and Snoopy steering the scooter with his floppy beagle ears propelling them into the sky, creating a sound effect of a helicopter taking off. Subsequently the journey unravels, transitioning into Snoopy strapped into a parachute in the sky featured on the case back, symbolising his adventure of fun and excitement. The style of the watch has a more formal tone as the watchband is a black leather strap. The movement is as well automatic with a manual winding capacity bezel with unidirectional rotation. Additionally 'LIMITED EDITION' as well engraved on the case back and the amount of pieces manufactured. Conveniently you can wear the watch swimming as it consists of 10 bar water resistance meaning the watch is 100 metres water resistant. It is as well 4,800 A/m magnetic resistance which helps the watch continue to operate as it will not be magnetised. Similarly to the SRPK25K the SRPK27K as well features Snoopy's pawprint showcased in the middle of the bezel. As you open the box a little series of pictures are revealed of Snoopy flying in the sky on his scooter. Considerately, the watch consists of 24 jewels to help with the timepiece's movement. For your benefit, this amount of jewels are used to elevate the efficiency of the watch. Moreover this sweet and elegant watch weighs only 62 grams, this is an optimal weight to have on the wrist as it is comfortable on the wrist wear for everyday use or for special occasions you know that it will serve you for the whole day without any worries. The case diameter is 36.4mm which is a classic watch size for both men and women. This years models are now available at H&S Jewellers.
The Seiko Supercars SRPJ95K features an all stainless steel case & strap with a black hard coat. The dial is black with a striking "carbon fibre" look to it. A two tone bezel in black & red sets the watch off nicely. The bezel will only rotate in one direction.
Seiko have designed a new quality display box this year. This box is a great way to put your watch on show, when not wearing it. The display box for the Seiko SRPJ95K has a lovely heft to it & features chrome plated hinges. The watch sits inside the box along with a Certificate of Authenticity that displays the Limited Edition Number. Each watch is individually numbered on the case back. Watch numbers are sent out at random & the images show Number 0001 as a demonstration of location of numbering. ( We cannot source number 1 or any specific numbers )
Also in the beautiful display box of the Seiko Supercars Limited Edition Watch SRPJ95K, is the additional silicon strap supplied. The strap is black displaying the Supercars Logo on the keeper in contrasting white. The silicon strap has an interesting pattern on it, in keeping with the race theme, the strap also has marking reminiscent of "Carbonfibre".
The lid of the box has a replica of the new Gen 3 Supercar Mag wheel that you can see the watch below even if the lid is closed.
The watch itself (SRPJ95K) is a variation of the Seiko 5. A robust hard wearing watch powered by the ever reliable 4R36 Automatic Movement, so no need for a battery replacement ever. With white hands on a black dial the Seiko SRPJ95K is incredibly legible & day/date display is black writing on a white background also very easy to read. Waterproof to 100M also means the watch rarely needs to leave your wrist!
The SRPJ95K comes in at a 46mm lug-to-lug, 42mm diameter, and 13.4mm height. At 42mm this is not the largest of watches, but it sits nicely on the wrist. The case protects a 4R36 automatic calibre, with 41 hours of power reserve, and a flowing sweep hand movement, typical of a mechanical/automatic watch. To get the watch going you can simply give it a few shakes before putting on your wrist or a few turns of wind on the crown will get it going.
The dial hour markers & hands have been coated in Seiko's "Lumibrite" solution so the hands "glow" in the dark & make it easy to read the watch after dark.
Along with the release of the Limited Edition Seiko Supercars SRPJ95K, Seiko have released two Special Edition Supercars Watches, the SRPJ97K & K-2. These watches are not limited edition and don't have a unique number.
Whilst not limited edition, they are certainly WOW!
So watch dial & bezel are identical to the Limited Edition, but in these two the case is Stainless Steel without the black hard coat. The SRPJ97K on a black silicon strap with Supercar logo & my preference the SRPJ97K-2 on a RED strap with the Supercars Logo.
These two models come in a special box as well, as pictured above.
If you would like to see these models in person, they are available to view at our Surfers Paradise store, Paradise Centre, Surfers.
]]>The Limited Edition Supercars Watch for 2023 is due to be released in April 2023.
Limited to 2023 examples and with an all new collectors box.
The watch is again an Automatic Seiko 5 with a distinctive red & black bezel. The Dial has a carbon fibre look, contrasting behind the white hands. This watch is easy to read and available to preorder from H&S Jewellers.
Case is all Stainless Steel & comes with a Stainless Steel Strap as well as an interchangeable silicon strap.
The Collectors box is ultra impressive with a imitation of a racing mag wheel ( as featured on the new Gen 3 Supercars) on the top, that you can see thru to catch a glimpse of your new watch beneath.
RRP $725 which is only a $26 increase on last years model. Certainly a good price in todays world!

The Seiko Presage Sharp Edged Series combines traditional mechanical watchmaking with distinctively modern Japanese style. It pairs the lauded refinement of Japanese design with strong, angular cases. The latest Sharp Edged Series models are a pair of limited-editions that express the moment when dawn’s early light penetrates the dark of night.
Since its debut in 2020, Seiko's Presage Sharp Edge Series has turned heads with its sleek, modern design and bold colours. This year, two new limited edition pieces join the collection. Called the Akebono, both variations are restricted to 2000 individually numbered versions, available as GMT and non-GMT models.
These new limited editions draw attention with their black cases and strap and blue gradient dials. The dials are graduated with a bright centre framed by a darkening perimeter. This is inspired by "akebono", when the dark of night fades and gives way to the first glimmers of dawn. The all black case & bracelet with hard coating are reminiscent of the dawn sky, foreshadowing the day ahead.
With a design steeped in a Japanese word for dawn, the latest Presage Sharp Edged limited editions call to mind fresh starts, new beginnings and the arrival of another day.
The patterned dial incorporates a traditional Japanese asanoha, or “hemp leaf” pattern, giving the surface a bold three-dimensional quality thanks to a network of intersecting straight lines. The asanoha pattern symbolizes growth and success in life and is popular as a kimono and baby wrapping design. While the pattern has been seen in previous watches in the Sharp Edged Series, this is the first time it has been adapted to evoke the dramatic time of akebono.
The pattern is achieved through slight differences in height on the 0.4mm thick metal plate. The pattern reflects light in different directions, creating a deep and beautiful luster on the dial. This depth is complemented and enhanced by other light-reflecting elements of the display. The indexes and second hand were inspired by the image of golden sunshine peeking through the still-dark early-morning sky. Unlike previous Sharp Edged models, the indexes have adopted a reflective, trapezoidal shape inspired by a ray of sunshine, and the second hand has a tip that calls to mind a ray of light. A painted gradient on the dial adds depth before a subsequent lapping process flattens the surface, enabling a rich, glossy polished finish.
The see-through case back of each watch is marked with the words “Limited Edition” and the serial number. ( Serial number in illustrations is 0001 to demonstrate where the number will be displayed on caseback. We do not have no. 1 nor can we source it. Watches are distributed at random. If you have a preference, you could call and we can tell you the numbers we have in stock. But we cannot order a particular number.) It also allows the wearer to view the automatic mechanical movement working. In the case of the SPB363, the movement is the caliber 6R35, which features the time and date. In the SPB361, it’s the caliber 6R64, which features the time, date, power-reserve indication, and a GMT function with locally jumping hour hand.
The SEIKO AKEBONO SPB361J1 is a beautiful watch. The all black case & Strap set off the "purplish' dial to perfection. The dial markers in rose gold work really well with this colour combination. It amounts to a very easy to read watch, with white hands easily read against the dark dial.
The SPB363J will retail for $1500AUD & the GMT capable SPB361J will be $2150AUD.
H&S Jewellers will be receiving very limited stock of these models.
Now in stock in limited supply.

The Repco Supercars Championship is the leading Motorsport category in Australasia, with events taking place across Australia and into New Zealand. The category is renowned for its exciting racing and the closeness of the competition, with millimetres and milliseconds often being the difference between victory and despair.
2022 sees the continuation of the partnership between SEIKO 5 Sports and the Repco Supercars Championship and with it a new Limited Edition Seiko 5 Sports timepiece.
Case & Bezel Design
The 2022 Supercars Watch features a case and bracelet that is as black as the bitumen they race on. Case features highlights of gold for "victory". The dial comes alive in daylight as the sun dances off the gold, but is equally visible at night with the lumibrite treatment of the hands & hour markers.
The watch comes presented in a Carbon fibre look box with Certificate of Authenticity & an additional Silicon strap.
This watch features a look through display case back, with the Supercars Logo. The case back is also engraved with the individual, limited edition watch number.

The two new creations express the artistry of Kabuki in every detail. The dials incorporate the Japanese hemp leaf pattern known as Asanoha, which has been used in the fabric of Kabuki costumes for centuries. Partly thanks to the popularity and influence of Kabuki actors, the Asanoha pattern has long been highly favoured in Japanese fashion and design.
The dial’s reddish-brown persimmon colour is known as Kakiiro and is a traditional Japanese colour that originated with the Ichikawa family who first used it generations ago in their Kabuki costumes. Still today, Kakiiro remains a Kabuki favourite. The dial edge is a darker shade so that the gold colour hands and indexes stand out clearly.
The watches are offered with a leather strap whose back is also Kakiiro. This is a subtle nod to the Edo period when it was forbidden to wear vivid colours in public and so they were only used on the reverse side of garments.
Both watches share the same crisp and angular case design that gives the series its distinctive and modern look. The indexes are textured on the top and polished on the sides so as to create a sharp and contemporary feel. The hour and minute hands are coated generously with Lumibrite to enhance legibility even in dark conditions.
Both watches are powered by Seiko’s high performance 6R series movements. The first offers Calibre 6R21, which has day, date and power reserve indicators at the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions respectively. The second offers Calibre 6R35, which delivers a power reserve of 70 hours. The crystal glass is a sapphire with an anti-reflective coating and both versions are 10 bar water resistant. The new creations will be available as limited editions of 2,000 from October 2022 at the Seiko Boutiques and selected retail partners worldwide.

Arita, a small town in Kyushu, the third largest island in the southwest of Japan, came to prominence in the early 17th century when clay suitable for porcelain manufacture was discovered there and its porcelain products soon became highly prized in Japan for the high quality of their artistry.
The production of Seiko's Arita porcelain dial required extensive research and development to achieve the durability and strength required for a wristwatch.
A fusion of Japan‘s world-class traditions and technologies, the Arita porcelain dial is made of highly durable porcelain material that is more than four times harder than usual porcelain.
It also undergoes a casting process using ultra-high-precision molds, and is fired at a high temperature of 1,300 degrees. The dials are then glazed and fired multiple times to complete the highly challenging process.
The blue indexes and hands against the pure white porcelain enhances the beauty of the dial.

This model features a special dial that recreates the faint lapis lazuli colors created by a traditional dyeing technique called “ruri zome” applied to representative Arita porcelain works, such as the large tripod dishes from Kyushu decorated with heron designs. SPB267J1

Astron GPS Solar remains unsurpassed in its precision and utility as the watch for the international traveller. Thanks to its unique, high-efficiency GPS module, it connects to the GPS network and adjusts, with atomic clock precision, to every time zone* at the touch of a button, while taking all the
energy it needs from light alone. Over the past decade, Astron’s GPS technology has been refined and its functionality enhanced such that the latest generation, featuring Calibre 5X53 Dual-Time, offers the ultimate in precision, energy efficiency and ease of use for those who demand the very best in high
technology watchmaking.
Now, Seiko Astron adds four new watches with a design that is as cutting edge as the GPS Solar technology they contain. The cases are all in titanium and have a sharp, angular construction that is as
contemporary as it is refined.
This new series includes three watches with dials in silver, blue-grey, and black and a limited edition watch with a unique striped dial. The three watches will join the main Astron collection and will be available at the Seiko Boutiques and H&S Jewellers from July 2022. The limited edition watch will be available from May.
This new series has a contemporary feel thanks to the sleek lines, the slim profile and, most of all, the compact, angular design which flows seamlessly from the case through the lugs to the bracelet. The titanium of the case and bracelet has a scratch-resistant hard-coating, and thanks to the light weight of this material and the low centre of gravity of the case, the watches sit comfortably on the wrist. The sapphire crystal bezel is narrow so that the eye is drawn to the dial but all the same gives the whole watch a quiet brilliance that complements its technological uniqueness.
The indexes stand proud above the dial and are sharply cut. They, and the hour and minute hands, are coated with Lumibrite to enhance legibility in low light conditions. The sapphire glass has an anti-reflective coating to ensure that time can be read at a glance from any angle.
All four watches are powered by Seiko’s most advanced and slimmest GPS Solar movement, 5X53 Dual-Time. When time zone adjustment is required, all it takes is a simple push of a single button and the hands move faster than ever to the exact local time, including Daylight Saving Time**, thanks to a system that moves each hand independently. The wearer can also change the main time display instantly from home to local time and vice versa. In addition, Calibre 5X53 connects up to twice a day to the GPS network to maintain its precision anywhere in the world***.
**If the time zone adjustment is successful, the watch will display local Daylight Saving Time wherever this is in operation. (This does not apply when a time zone is selected manually.)
***When the dial detects sunlight, the watch connects to the GPS satellite network and adjusts automatically to the correct time. If the watch is hidden from light, it remembers the time of its last successful manual connection and attempts to receive the GPS signal again at that same time.
Pictured above the limited edition SSH113
The limited edition watch shares all the same design characteristics as the other three versions but has a dial graced with horizontal stripes of different, alternating shades of grey. The bezel is of sapphire crystal and is also in a dark grey against which the UTC time zone markings stand out clearly.
This is a collaboration model between Seiko 5 Sport and Brian May, guitarist of legendary rock band QUEEN!
Brian's favourite guitar, the "Red Special," inspires this gold-coloured design in the special series.
Throughout his career, rock legend Brian May has relied upon his "Red Special" Guitar to create the sound that helped make Queen one of the world's most admired and celebrated rock bands. He has also relied on Seiko. For more than 40 years, Brian has worn a Seiko diver's watch whose enduringly popular design is the inspiration for the latest Seiko 5 Sports collection. Brian bought his Seiko watch while first on tour in Japan in the 1970s. Since then, his guitar and watch have travelled the globe together - making great music and keeping great time.
Brian and his father made the guitar entirely by hand, using only hand tools. The neck was carved from the wood of an old fireplace, already 100 years old at the time. The body was made from block board with an ancient oak insert, coated with a mahogany veneer that Brian stained and polished himself. The innovative tremolo system, designed by Brian, featured a hand-carved mild steel rocker plate pivoting on a knife edge, with the strings' tension balanced by motorcycle valve springs. To complete the job, the tremolo arm was improvised from part of a bicycle saddlebag holder, capped with a piece of his mother's sturdy knitting needle. The Red Special is a labour of love that has uniquely served Brian on stage and in the studio for over half a century, being repeatedly evolved and refined till this day.
As with the first collaboration model, the dial recreates the fine details of the legendary guitar with a pressed pattern reminiscent of the texture of the wood, its glossy finish and gradated colouring.
This case is a special gold-colour version, requested by Brian himself, inspired by the newly released 'Gold Series' reissues of his solo albums. Seiko have designated this one to have model number SRPH80K1.
The nylon strap is decorated with vertical stripes designed to resemble guitar strings.
The watch is offered as a limited edition with Brian's signature on the case back alongside "LIMITED EDITION" and the serial number 00001/12500 - 12500/12500.
The presentation box which accompanies the piece is reminiscent of a guitar case and comes with a replica of the 'lucky sixpence' coin which Brian uses instead of a guitar pick. Both highlight this timepiece as a special watch to be worn and enjoyed as well as an ideal collector's piece.
Seiko Watch Corporation will donate a proportion of the sales proceeds from this timepiece to The Mercury Phoenix Trust with Goal 3 (Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages) of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations in mind.
The MPT is a charity organisation founded by Brian May, Roger Taylor and Queen manager Jim Beach, in memory of Freddie Mercury, to help fund the fight against HIV/AIDS worldwide.

Arita, a small town in Kyushu, the third largest island in the southwest of Japan, came to prominence in the early 17th century when clay suitable for porcelain manufacture was discovered there and its porcelain products soon became highly prized in Japan for the high quality of their artistry.
Seiko Presage’s mechanical movement inherits Seiko’s watchmaking tradition of more than 100 years. Combined with the beauty of the Arita porcelain dial, every aspect of the watch reflects the care and craftsmanship for which Presage is renowned.
To produce the dials involves a multi-stage production process combining skill, patience and artistry. The dials are applied a glaze unique to Arita porcelain, which give them a deep, rich finish.
This limited edition features a special dial that recreates the faint lapis lazuli colors created by a traditional dyeing technique called “ruri zome.” This technique is applied to representative Arita Porcelain works, such as the large tripod dishes from Kyushu decorated with heron designs.
The dial capturing the ruri zome technique’s soft, light tones and shades create a pleasing effect on the wrist.
The porcelain dials are made by an experienced manufacturer in Arita that has been making porcelain since 1830. Hiroyuki Hashiguchi is the master craftsman and he and his colleagues have been developing the dials with the Presage team.
The case back is marked with the letter "LIMITED EDITION" and a serial number between 001/2000 and 2000/2000 as a certificate of limited quantity.

Limited edition of 5,500 pieces
In 1986, Seiko launched a diver’s watch that set a new standard. It combined Seiko’s legendary 1975 design, the 1,000 metre water resistance required for saturation diving, and a quartz movement that delivered an accuracy no mechanical diver’s watch could match. At the time, and still today, it was recognised as one of Seiko’s most important diver’s watches. Today, 35 years on, this classic Seiko Diver’s watch is re-born with new design features and upgraded professional diver’s watch specifications. This is a watch that truly lives up to the promise of the Prospex name. Available now as a limited edition of 1,200 pieces worldwide.
This new watch inherits all the important design features and innovations which made both the 1975 mechanical and the 1986 quartz original so greatly trusted by the professional diving community. It has the 1,000m water resistance and helium resistance that saturation diving requires and incorporates the unique one-piece titanium case with its outer protector structure that makes its shock resistance so exceptional. It also has the accordion-style strap that ensures that the watch remains tight on the wrist at every depth. The outer protector is made of zirconia ceramic, which is seven times harder than steel, further enhancing its resistance to shock. The strap is now crafted from high grade, strong yet flexible silicone.
As a new safety and design feature, the crown is marked with a vivid yellow “Lock” sign and an arrow to indicate the rotating direction. The winding stem is also in yellow so that the wearer can immediately notice if the crown is unlocked. The white hour markers stand out against the dark dial so that they are easy to read at depth.
The watch is offered with extra-strength silicone straps in both black and blue-grey, ensuring wearability both over a wet-suit and directly on the wrist. Each strap features the text “FOR SATURATION DIVING 1000m” in yellow.
The watch is equipped with Seiko’s tried and trusted quartz Calibre 7C46 which delivers a high level of torque so that it can move the powerful hands that are wide, robust and Lumibrite-coated for maximum legibility. It also delivers a reassuringly long battery life of 5 years.

Seiko 5 Sports and Japanese skateboard brand Evisen Skateboards have collaborated on a lineup of models that express Evisen's unique worldview.
A Japanese skateboard brand launched by director Katsumi Minami and his friends in 2011. The name Evisen is derived from "everything" pronounced with Japanese intonation, and was chosen to express their belief that ‘‘skateboarding is everything’’. The brand has released a variety of products that feature humorously original graphics that incorporate ancient Japanese traditions and culture, as well as works by artists associated with the brand – a production culture very in line with what Seiko offers.
Evisen team riders are all unique and talented from Japan and abroad. The brand is based in Tokyo, but has close ties to Osaka, Sendai, and other major cities in Japan as well as appearing in international media. Pursuing the essence of skateboarding, Evisen producing skateboard decks and videos as well as apparel collections that reflect skateboarders' originality.
Each watch is 42.5mm in diameter and 13.4mm thick. Each of the cases are satin-brushed on their front with a tapered polished bevel to the brushed lug hoods. As Seiko 5 Sports watches, all have a water resistance of 100m.
Two of the models are available to purchase at H&S Jewellers, in our Surfers Paradise store or online.
The SRPF93 features the most neutral design, with a colour scheme that suits a wide range of tastes. Seiko says “the off-white dial resembles the urethane material of a skateboard wheel, and the calf strap resembles the wood-grained skateboard deck”.
To further emphasise the skateboard/skater aesthetic, at the centre of the dial you’ll find the image of a skateboard’s bearing. The hexagonal hour indexes resemble the axle nuts that connect the wheel to the truck, with the 12′ index featuring an Evisen ‘E’. The large hours and minutes hands are made of stainless-steel, with an off-white LumiBrite coating that also matches the dial tone.
If you're after more flash and flair, the SRPF94 is the one for you. The model incorporates the Evisen logo Samurai helmet into its design. The inner bezel of the dial has a wave-like pattern throughout the inner ring. The silicon strap has an original paisley pattern that adds a subtle accent to its look. The matte brushed black bezel is specially designed with kanji characters, incorporating Japanese taste in every detail. The hands are yellow gold in tone, with black LumiBrite coatings for added visibility in darkness.
Each of the watches are powered by the Seiko 4R36 movement, visible beneath the Hardlex crystal exhibition casebacks. The robust and reliable movement has 41 hours of power reserve and a more classic beat rate of 21,600 vph. Especially at the price point, it’s a quality movement that is built in-house by Seiko – something most manufacturers could not boast at this price tier. A true benefit of being one of the world’s few truly vertically integrated manufacturers.
As a nice added touch for the limited edition watches, the models are offered in a special presentation box with a unique Japanese feel. The back of the lid is printed with the logo of the “路滑板製造会社”. Both watches are limited to 1500 pieces worldwide, a true collectors item.
